The Yasser Arafat Foundation mourns the passing of Diab Al-Louh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Egypt and a prominent member of the Fatah movement, who died in Cairo on August 9, 2026, at the age of 67.

A former political prisoner and longtime Palestinian national figure, Al-Louh dedicated his life to serving the Palestinian cause and defending the rights of the Palestinian people through national and diplomatic work.

The Foundation expressed its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, fellow members of Fatah and the Palestinian national movement, the Palestinian Embassy in Egypt, and all those who knew and worked alongside him, praying for mercy for the deceased and strength and patience for his loved ones.
