The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Egypt, in cooperation with the Yasser Arafat Foundation, organized a ceremony on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Cairo to launch a biographical book on the life of Palestinian national figure Zakaria Al-Agha. The event also marked the release of a related publication by Brigadier General Arabi Kloub titled “Memories and Testimonies of the Struggle of Leader Zakaria Al-Agha.”

The ceremony was attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab Al-Louh, Assistant Secretary-General for Palestinian and Arab Affairs Faed Mustafa, representatives of the Palestinian leadership, diplomatic and political figures, and members of the Al-Agha family.

The event opened with a moment of silence for the martyrs, followed by the Egyptian and Palestinian national anthems. Ambassador Al-Louh described the occasion as a tribute to a national figure who left a significant legacy of public service and political commitment. He stressed the importance of documenting Palestinian history and reaffirmed solidarity with the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, as well as with Palestinian prisoners.

Brigadier General Arabi Kloub highlighted Al-Agha’s long political and social contributions, describing him as a principled and dedicated leader who played an important role in Palestinian national work. He emphasized that the book serves as an act of loyalty to his legacy and thanked the Palestinian Embassy and all contributors to the publication.
