The Board of Directors of the Yasser Arafat Foundation held its 67th meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Yasser Arafat Museum, chaired by Dr. Ahmad Soboh. Members based in Palestine attended in person, while those abroad joined via video conferencing. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abbadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, along with the Foundation’s Director General and the Museum Director.
The Board reviewed the Foundation’s ongoing activities and discussed reports on its key programs, including the 9th National Knowledge Competition, Yasser Arafat Summer Camps, educational seminars, and the Yasser Arafat Awards for achievement, research, and studies, in addition to updates on the museum’s work.
The meeting also paid tribute to the resilience of the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, amid ongoing conditions of genocide, displacement, and hardship. It reaffirmed commitment to steadfastness and resistance to the occupation until the realization of Palestinian national rights, including the end of occupation and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
