The 66th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yasser Arafat Foundation

The Board of Directors of the Yasser Arafat Foundation held its 66th meeting on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ahmad Soboh, Chairman of the Board, with the participation of Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and attended by all board members, in addition to the Foundation’s Director General and the Museum Director.

During the meeting, the Board reviewed and evaluated the Foundation’s programs, events, and activities over the past year, as documented in the 2025 Annual Report. The Board also approved the Foundation’s work plan for 2026 and called on members of the Board of Trustees and partners to support and contribute to the successful implementation of this program.

The Board expressed its gratitude and appreciation to all Foundation staff members for completing the program efficiently and successfully despite the difficult conditions facing the homeland as a result of the
ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The participants concluded by extending a salute of pride and honor to the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, for their refusal of displacement and their unwavering commitment to national principles, ending the occupation and realizing national independence through the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
