The Board of Directors of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, upon the recommendation of the Award Committee, has decided to withhold the Yasser Arafat Achievement Award for the year 2025.

This marks the first time the Foundation has taken such a decision since the award’s inception in 2007. The decision reflects the grave circumstances currently facing the homeland, amid ongoing aggression,
genocide, settlement expansion, and blockade.

The Foundation expresses its hope that the Award Committee will resume its work and begin receiving nominations for the 2026 award under better national conditions.

Glory to the martyrs.
Freedom for the prisoners.
And here we remain — steadfast.
