On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the Yasser Arafat Foundation concluded a cultural day organized in cooperation with several partner organizations for children participating in summer camps, held at the Yasser Arafat Museum.
Over the course of a week, the museum hosted around 400 children—boys and girls aged 8 to 14—from various locations across the West Bank.
The initiative aimed to strengthen national identity, foster a positive spirit, and educate the children about the life and legacy of the late President Yasser Arafat through cultural engagement.
During their visit, the children toured the museum with their camp facilitators, learning about the history of Palestine and Arafat’s journey from birth to martyrdom. The visit concluded with a screening of the film “The Story of Yasser” in Al-Muntada Hall. This event served as an alternative to the annual Yasser Arafat Summer Camps, which could not be held for the second consecutive year due to ongoing Israeli military incursions, road closures, and the continued genocide in Gaza.
