On April 29, 2025, Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Chairman of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Alija Izetbegović Foundation represented by its Chairman, Ziyad Ljevaković in Sarajevo.

The agreement aims to preserve the legacies of Presidents Yasser Arafat and Alija Izetbegović, promote Palestinian culture and shared values, and foster collaboration between the two foundations.

Key areas of cooperation include archiving, asset preservation, staff exchanges, and commemorating both leaders. Dr. Soboh also visited the tomb and museum of President Alija Izetbegović and presented a collection of Yasser Arafat Foundation publications to the Izetbegović Foundation.
