Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Chairman of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, met with members of the Palestinian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 28, 2025, in Sarajevo. During the meeting, he stressed the importance of Palestinian communities' role in garnering international support to stop Israeli aggressions and genocide and to gain more recognition for Palestine. Dr. Soboh also discussed the ongoing aggressions and genocide against Palestinians, particularly in Gaza and the northern West Bank, and the international legal efforts of Palestine to halt the war.

The meeting was organized by the Palestinian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Bosnian-Palestinian Friendship Association.

Additionally, the Palestinian community’s headquarters in Sarajevo which is known as the "Jerusalem of Europe", located in the Old Town, will serve as a center for Palestinian cultural heritage.
