Born in 1936 in Cairo, Egypt, the son of former parliamentarian Muhammad Moussa. He studied law in Cairo University in 1957. 

1958 – Began his career as a civil servant with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1958-1972 – Worked in several different governmental departments including Egypt's missions to the United Nations.
1974-1977 - Assistant to the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
1977-1981 - Director of Department of International Organizations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1981-1983 - Alternate representative to the United Nations.
1983-1986 - Ambassador to India.
1986-1990 - Director of Department of International Organizations in Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1990-1991 - A Permanent representative to the United Nations.
1991-2001 -  Minister of Foreign Affairs- Egypt.
2001-2011 - Sixth Secretary General of the League of Arab States.
June 2011-May 2012 -  Presidential candidate.
March 2013 - Secretary of State John Kerry meets with Moussa and others in Egypt while on his first overseas trip since he became secretary.

Dr. Abdallah Albashir

Dr. Abdallah Albashir

Dr. Abdalla Bashir is one of the fathers of general surgery in Amman, Jordan. He is well known in many surgical communities: National, Arab and International.

Dr. Abdalla Bashir finished medical school from Cairo University (1963-1969) being first on the honor’s list. He also did his surgical residency at Cairo University (Kasr Alaini hospitals) after that. He joined the university teaching staff till 1983, when he resigned as an associate professor of surgery. While in Cairo University, he obtained the FRCS degree from Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 1976. 

Dr. Bashir moved to Jordan to establish his private practice in Amman, Jordan. He helped the surgical community establish its bylaws in its different societies. He was elected as the president of the Jordanian Surgical Society from 1988-1992. He was also one of the founders of the Pan-Arab Surgical Society in 1988. He was also a member of the Jordan Medical Council (JMC) as an examiner in general surgery board since 1983. He was appointed as the vice president of the JMC board and president of the Reform Committee since 2011. In 1996 he helped establish Jordan Hospital, a tertiary comprehensive center, comprising all specialties, which became a referral center for many countries around the world. He is the chairman of Board of Directors since 1996. He continued teaching surgery throughout the years of his practice.

Dr. Bashir has participated in many National, Arab and International conferences. In 2014, he was elected as the only permanent member in the Pan Arab Surgical Society Board.

Dr. Bashir became a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2007. He was honored by the trust of his Majesty King Abdullah the Second of Jordan as member of The House of Senates in the Jordanian Parliament in the fall of 2013. He continues to work for the medical society and help organize its legislation in Jordan. Meanwhile, he still serves as the Chairman of the board of directors at Jordan Hospital, and still is a very busy general surgeon, and teacher.

“Muhammad Abdul Qadir” Faisal Al-husseini was born in Jerusalem on Janurary 19, 1972. He earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Birzeit University in 2002. 
-    He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Faisal Husseini Foundation. 
-    Member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy MIFTAH.
-    Member of the Board of Trustees of the Jerusalem Society for Welfare and Development.
